About us

Hello and welcome to DevOps Hunter!

My name is Pavan Devarakonda, and I am a DevSecOps Lead Engineer with over 20+ years of experience in the Information Technology industry. Throughout my career, I have worked across software development, middleware administration, cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices, helping organizations modernize their technology platforms and improve operational efficiency.

Who’s Behind This Blog?

The idea for this blog was born during my time at Oracle. I often found myself discussing technical challenges with my close friends and colleagues, Veera and Ramesh. One topic that came up repeatedly was the gap between official product documentation and the real-world issues engineers face every day.

While documentation provides the fundamentals, it often doesn't cover the troubleshooting steps, edge cases, practical workarounds, or lessons learned from production environments. As a result, engineers can spend hours investigating issues that others may have already solved.

After resolving incidents, deployment challenges, configuration issues, and production outages, we frequently asked ourselves:

"Why not document these solutions and share them with the broader engineering community?"

That simple idea became the foundation of this blog.

The goal is to capture real-world experiences, practical troubleshooting techniques, automation solutions, and DevOps best practices so that fellow engineers can learn faster, avoid common pitfalls, and spend less time searching for answers.

Every article shared here is inspired by actual challenges, hands-on experience, and the belief that knowledge grows when it is shared.
